i need some advice my mom has a 2001 honda accord fully loaded ex model v6. over the weekend she went to vermont and ended up getting gas up there. she came back and monday morning as she was driving to work check engine light and tcs light came on and car was skipping and running like shit, i put the car on the computer and it ran 5 codes p301,p306, then an random misfire code because of the cylinder 1 and 6 misfire. then a p401 which was egr valve and then 1399 egr passage block, or valve lash. i changed the egr and clean the port all the codes except 1399 went away but still runs like crap and skipping. after i changed the egr and started it smelled like rotting egs so checked the cat. converter it was clear, even ran the car with no cat to see if 1399 would go away. after that i took the intake manifold and throttle body off and clean everything on it did have a block in intake manifol where egr runs up. still no fix put brand new spark plugs ngk platinum which is called for that car still a no go. car is still apart i put dry gas in tank last night and going to clean out fuel rail next. has anyone had this problem or no anything about it. was thinking about valve lash next since it is in the code keep in mind timing was done at 99,000 car has 107,000 now need advice appreciate if anyone can help.

There was a service bulletin for the V6s for an egr port clog, might be worth looking into.
Are you sure the code you still have is P1399? I can't even find that code in the Helms manual. Maybe it's P0139?

Seems to me sir like you need to replace one or all of the following: coil pack or O2 sensor, or EGR.
